  • What makes your leagues different?

    Locations! With premier fields and a great community, we play if it is on the schedule and weather permits! This means you don't have to deal with opposing teams not showing up and wasting your time. 


    Community! We have players that have and are competing at the highest levels to bring you the most competitive league in the DMV. Whether you are an aspiring college player  or former professional, we have a place for you! We truly believe we are building a network not only on the field but off the field as well and have league gatherings to help people connect and support one another.


  • I'm still in high school, can I play?

    High school seniors are eligible to play in leagues outside of their school seasons with appropriate signed waivers. Stand by for more High school offerings coming soon!

  • Will the games have referees?

    Yes! All games will have 2 WALOA Officials per game.

  • Can I play in more than one of your leagues in a season? (Open/Masters/Box)

    Yes! With our many offerings for field and box, we encourage you to play in as many leagues as you wish while still being able to stay healthy!

  • How to I put in a team?

    Depending on the season, you may be able to submit a team or register as a player or captain for a draft! If you are interested or have specific questions like this please Contact Us!

  • I am new to the DC \ Maryland \ Virginia and don't know anyone playing, can I still join a team?

    Yes! We encourage and welcome new players with open arms to our community. 

  • I haven't played in x years, can I still play?

    Yes! We are here to grow the community and the great sport of lacrosse across the DMV area. 

  • Do you offer any discounts for military or first responders?

    Yes! Discount codes will be provided once validated. Reach out and get your code here!

  • I don't have pads or my own stick, can I still play?

    Unfortunately, you will need to supply your own safety gear to participate. The league or your team will only be responsible for providing uniforms and a good time!
